The (electronic) bass guitar is a very young instrument. When bands played in the 1950s, the traditional double bass was hardly audible due to the loud electric guitar. The solution to this problem was found with the creation of the electronic bass guitar. Now, not only the guitar but also the bass was connected to an amplifier. 

The bass guitar is indispensable in all musical genres due to its diverse character. Therefore, bassists as musicians are much asked for by all musical line-ups.

The main goal of bass lessons is to prepare you for making music alongside others in a band. Depending on your preference, the bass lessons at our music school can be carried out in a group or as individual lessons. 

We recommend taking up bass lessons at a minimum age of 12. For an enjoyable playing experience, a certain size of hands and arms is required. Apart from this, everybody is welcome, whether adult, beginner, advanced player or returnee.
