The music school tomatenklang has been introducing children to music ever since 2001. It all started one Sunday morning, when Adrian sat in a bar with friends and decided not to continue teaching music on his own. tomatenklang sounded funnier than Musikmarie and when the music school became more respectable, the name was already so widely known that it was too late to change it.

Starting off with only two rooms in the Marieburger Straße, lessons now take place in 58 rooms, spread all over Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin-Pankow, and Kreuzberg. Ever since then, many students have made their first musical steps at tomatenklang. About 160 teachers teach students that range from the ages of two to 88. Initially only offering guitar lessons, the school now offers a wide spectrum, from the symphony orchestra to the rock-band festival. Our passion has not changed in the last 20 years.

Yes, we have learned and improved, and can therefore now offer large concerts, orchestra trips and Tomate Rockt! in addition to music lessons. However, our talent for improvisation and our love for music remains the same. This is why we manage to find the matching teacher for every student.
